SoulMiner – Tutorial levels

The implementation contains a tutorial “engine” that enables us to design specific levels emphasizing one or more aspect of the game, all others – including evolving the mine, controlling minerals, player’s viewpoint, etc. – are controlled from an internal “scripting”. While guiding the player through the tutorial, well-timed detailed instructions are provided. The same mechanism can reveal new pieces of the game’s story.

The first tutorial introducing the base concepts and practicing the basic gestures.

The second tutorial presenting constellations and how to take them.
